I had the empanadas and have to admit they were very good. Both the beef and the chicken. I'll go back for them and potentially other dishes that sound interesting.

Solid mom and pop spot, at least for empanadas. People say they are the best in town and I would say they are pretty up there compared to others I've had elsewhere. For me, it comes down to two things for empanadas- how is the crust and is the filling dry. The crust on these empanadas is a solid five. Flakey and a just a bit oily but in the best way. Beef empanada is pretty dry meat-wise but the ham/cheese and chicken ones are the real stars. Highly recommend the sauces but especially the salsa one which has a bit of a kick. Tres leches cake was good but both my friend and I agreed we detected what tasted like a hint of alcohol in there somewhere, although the ingredients say otherwise so not sure where that flavor was coming from. Would definitely return for the flaky chicken or ham empanadas. Probably wouldn't get the tres leches again since I've had better locally elsewhere.

Empanadas are out of this world! The hot sauce they also give brings the taste of the empanadas to another level! Food overall is very good too! Very authentic and a good find.

Every few months I have business in the area and have noticed this place but never had the time to stop in. I had heard that their empanadas were great so that was my target. I purchased the beef, chicken and ham and cheese ones as well as a couple of chicken tamales. Every item was excellent but the ham and cheese empanada is beyond delicious. The filling in the tamale was great and with a little picante sauce, this visit turned into one of the best $16 I ever spent

Hidden away spot that deserves more of a shout out! It is small and seems better for take out. There were a couple of people sitting inside. If you do want to dine in, it's more for a quick bite. I tried a baleda for the first time ever and it was soooo good. It's refried beans, eggs, cream sauce, and I did beef wrapped in some kind of soft/chewy bread. The bread reminded me of thinner naan bread. Loved the textures and flavors. A baleda and coffee was like $7! Can't beat it. Will come back! I'm reading that the empanadas are great...need to try those.

Omg what a fun find. I'm sure we're gonna gain 30 pounds by eating here but it'll be worth it! We found the place thru Yelp as we were looking for bakeries in the area. The place is small but amazing. Definitely try their empanadas and salsa with it. Any and every bakery item is amazing. We bought one of almost everything to try. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. Will definitely be going back. Totally forgot and I have no idea how I could- order the arepas! They are so good fresh but also excellent reheated in a toaster oven. The perfect corn pancake with a hint of sweet and savory- you won't be disappointed.

Desserts here are amazing! I drove 30mins from my home just to get one of there dulce de leche cakes for a gathering I was having. Everything taste authentic and better than any other store brand I've ever bought. Plan on only buying my desserts from here going forward. Highly recommend!

The other reviews are correct. These are the best empanadas in town by a long shot. Get the empanadas. Beef = Good Chicken = Better Ham & Cheese = If I could legally marry this pastry, I would.

I work nearby so I looked up some breakfast options in the area. I stopped by a little before 8 and grabbed a breakfast burrito type thing. The "tortilla" was more like naan, and it was filled with beans, cheese, and eggs. You can get it with meat for another $1.50. It was good but a little too dough-y and chewy. I would have liked more filling and less dough. I also ordered a chicken empanada for lunch but ended up eating it for breakfast. It was great! Crispy and flavorful. I liked that it was really full of chicken instead of mostly dough like other empanadas I've tried. I don't think I'll order the breakfast item anymore but I'll definitely be back for empanadas!
